"I hope this piece brings you the light of a forest canopy at dawn." - Julia Blume

DETAILS

Every Lauba pendant begins as a dream of the forest canopy at dawn, a vision brought to life through bronze and glass. The intricate bronze cap is hand-sculpted using ancient lost wax techniques inspired by Hellenistic talismans, while the specialty glass utilizes historic color methods developed by Tiffany Studios. Just as no two sunrises in nature are ever exactly alike, the organic materials and the human hands involved in the creation process ensure that no two fixtures will ever be a perfect match.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION

“Silva” is a collection by Julia Blume. Hand-rolled glass and cast bronze, shaped around the dream of a forest from the rooted understory to the sunlit canopy. Each lamp represents a different layer of this living landscape, built on the idea that light should shift and breathe just like nature itself. Every piece is made to order and wholly unique.
